Depeche Mode Announces Support For Upcoming North American Tour

Depeche Mode has announced support for the first leg of the upcoming Memento Mori World Tour. The New York’s Madison Square Garden show will feature support from Stella Rose & The Dead Language, while the remaining first leg of the tour will be opened by Kelly Lee Owens.

Kelly Lee Owens is a Welsh electronic musician and producer. Owens has collaborated with St. Vincent, whose single ‘New York’, from the album Masseduction, she remixed. She also collaborated with Björk on her EP dedicated to remixes of ‘Arisen My Senses’ from her album Utopia, and Welsh-born John Cale on the track ‘Corner of my Sky’, from her album Inner Song. She released her self-titled first album in 2017 to critical praise, her follow-up album Inner Song was released in August 2020. Her third studio album LP.8 was released on 29 April 2022.

Stella Rose, the daughter of Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan, and her band The Dead Language have performed in numerous New York City and Brooklyn venues. Stella Rose’s first two singles, ‘Muddled Man’ and ‘Angel’ were released in Fall 2022.

Depeche Mode also revealed that additional North American shows will be announced in the very near future.
