Global Spirit Tour Resumes
Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan was discharged from a hospital in Minsk where he was kept overnight with gastrointestinal issues, which lead to the cancellation of the band’s gig in the city on Monday night.
The band released the following statement via Facebook:
“A note from DM: We are happy to report that Dave’s condition has improved and we will be continuing onwards to Ukraine today for the show in Kiev tomorrow night. The band are looking forward to the last shows on the European summer tour and seeing all of the fans in Kiev tomorrow, in Warsaw on Friday and in Cluj on Sunday.
To the fans who had tickets to last night’s show in Minsk, we are looking at all options and will have more information in the next few days. Thank you for all of your support and good wishes last night and this morning.”
