Audio: SixToes Collaborate With Dave Gahan
Dave Lends Vocals To ‘Low Guns’ By SixToes
The new single is taken from SixToes’ second album, ‘The Morning After’.
Gahan said of the collaboration: “I always really liked the remixes that SixToes did for Depeche Mode over the years, so when the band reached out to me about working with the band on ‘Low Guns’, I jumped on the opportunity. The band are exceptionally talented, the song connected with me, and I think the video is inspired and fantastic.”
SixToes cellist Anne Carruthers added: “Dave would always be very positive after listening to our remixes for their ‘Sounds Of The Universe’ album so we invited him to sing on ‘Low Guns’ and to our delight he immediately said “yes”. In fact he went one step further and also added a harmonica part to the end of the track.”
‘Low Guns’ will be released on the 18th November, with the The Morning After LP to follow in early 2014.
