For 14 years Alan Wilder was with Depeche Mode.  Alan Wilder was considered the inventor behind the sound of Depeche Mode.  While songwriter Martin Gore and singer Dave Gahan was the most prominent heads of the band, Wilder served as the genius in the background. He created the sounds and often worked a long time in the production of an album when his bandmates had been on vacation. Derwen asked him to Sound Check.
