Platinum For ‘Sounds Of The Universe’ Finally Received

It would have been the beginning of June in Hamburg for Depeche Mode to receive their platinum ‘Sounds Of The Universe’ album. However, the award didn’t take place since the band was forced to cancel and postpone several tour dates, because of Dave’s malignant tumor diagnosis on his bladder and successful treatment.

The platinum album was finally awarded to the band at the opening of the second European leg of the sold-out tour in Oberhausen.
