Depeche Mode ‘LipDub For The Masses’
The Polish Depeche Mode fan-club show their devotion to Depeche Mode by creating an amazing video called ‘LipDub For The Masses’.
The idea of DM LipDub emerged at the beginning of march and intensive preparations got started immediately. From the very beginning we were very pleased, however engaging the necessary amount of people caused the biggest difficulties. The date of recording must have been appropriate for all participants and everyone had to find some good way to arrive to Lodz. It needed a lot of determination many times, for which we are very thankful!
More than 60 people took part in the recording. Everyone chose an appropriate role for himself from the prepared list of roles and scenes from DM videos, and prepared specific clothes and necessary items. We had time from 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. to record, however difficulties concerning arriving to Lodz caused many delays. In reality we were forced to record the video in 4 hours (rehearsals, changing clothes and 5 repetitions). In the beginning of the day of recording we thought that making it would be almost impossible, however after a short while everyone got deep into his role using 101% of energy. You already know the effect 🙂 Nothing’s impossible for Depeche Mode fans!
