It’s now official: British band’s members arrive at Ben-Gurion Airport, greeted by dozens of fans at Tel Aviv hotel. Long-awaited concert to be held Sunday evening in Ramat Gan Stadium.

British electronic music band Depeche Mode landed at Ben-Gurion Airport on Thursday evening, arriving on a private plane from Luxemburg.

The three band members then headed to a hotel in Tel Aviv, where they will be staying throughout their visit to Israel.

As they arrived at the hotel, Andy Fletcher, Dave Gahan and Martine Gore – accompanied by an entourage of dozens of people – quickly rushed by dozens of fans and media photographers waiting at the entrance to the building.

The band will stay in Israel until after its concert, which will take place Sunday evening at the Ramat Gan Stadium. Before the gig, the band members are expected to hold a press conference.

The band members were met at the entrance to the hotel by many fans, some holding signs with greetings in honor of their arrival in Israel and wearing Depeche Mode T-shirts.

On Saturday evening, the day lead singer Gahan celebrates his 47th birthday, the band members will arrive at the stadium for a rehearsal and a sound check. On the eve of the concert, the three are expected to meet with a few of their fans.

Apart from these events, it is still unclear what the three intend to do during their hours of leisure in Israel and how they plan to celebrate Gahan’s birthday.
