Depeche Mode Back-Catalogue Reissue

First mentioned on Side-Line a while back, the news has now been confirmed to us, Mute will reissue the complete Depeche Mode back-catalogue for sure. The releases are at the moment being re-mastered by Kevin Vanbergen at Worldwide, the in-house studio at Mute and not by Alan Wilder as Dave Gahan said in an interview with our colleagues from D-side. As of yet it is not sure what extras, if any, will accompany the individual albums. The release of the sets should not be expected before end of March to early April, more or less around the same time the band will release the fourth single from their current album, ‘John The Revelator’.

In more Depeche Mode news, the official release date for ‘Suffer Well’, the 3rd single taken from ‘Playing The Angel’, will be February 20th, exactly 25 years after the release of their very first single ‘Dreaming Of Me’. Finally, ex-Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder is currently in his own studio working on new Recoil material. A release date for that material is not known at the moment. More info as we get it.
