alfa matrix re:covered - a tribute to depeche mode

Out in early May, but already available for ordering now, is the massive 2CD Depeche Mode tribute compilation ‘Alfa Matrix re:covered – a tribute to Depeche Mode’. As the title suggests already, the compilation unites the electronic sounds from the Alfa Matrix label artists with some of the best songs pop history has ever heard from one single band. All electronic music genres have their very own ambassadors on this double CD compilation which includes interpretations by Sebastian Komor (Zombie Girl, Komor Kommando, …), Jean-Luc Demeyer (Front 242), Claus larsen (Leaether Strip), Jennifer Parkin (Ayria), Claus Kruse (Plastic Noise Experience) and many more. 32 tracks in total.

And that’s not all, the first online orders for this compilation will get a free promo-only 7-track EPCD featuring alternative versions including a remix by Paul Oakenfold collaborator Robert Vadney. This EP is not available on the market seperately. On top you get a free 18-track label compilation. 4CD’s for just 20 Euro. Tracklist and ordering info is available at www.depeche-mode-tribute.com. You can take this opportunity to get some more synthpop related releases from Alfa Matrix together with this compilation at a reduced price. Check the options right here.
